Owl Stripe Connect is our next-generation integrated payments solution, replacing Owl's legacy integration, Stripe Standard. Starting on April 17, 2024, Owl will end support for Stripe Standard.
If your account is on Stripe Standard, You'll need to migrate to Owl Stripe Connect in order to:
- Maintain access to existing client cards on file
- Receive support on payments-releated questions from the Owl Customer Advocacy team
- Enjoy feature updates and enhancements

What happened so far
- May 2023: Owl Stripe Connect was made available to all users. Learn all about the upgrade here.
- June-July 2023: Several feature enhancements were released:
- December 2023: Over 1,700 practices have migrated to Owl Stripe Connect, processing $10M+ securely and efficiently!
What happens next
- January 2024: Additional feature enhancements are in the works - coming soon!
- Multi-office support for dashboard exports
- Feb-April 2024: Owl will continue to offer on-demand resources and dedicated customer support to help you migrate from Stripe Standard to Stripe Connect with ease:

- April 17, 2024 (11:59pm ET): End of Stripe Standard support. After this date, if you are still on Stripe Standard, your Owl Stripe Standard integration will be severed. You will lose the ability to record and process payments using the Stripe payment method. While you will continue to be able to add clients cards on file, they will not be chargeable.
