Simply submit your request, and let our team handle the rest. Follow these steps to start submitting claims and getting paid for therapist services.

Step 1: Log in to Owl Practice
- access your Owl Practice account using your credentials.
Step 2: Navigating to Insurance within your Practice Details settings
- Once logged in, navigate to the Settings section.
- In the Settings section, select Practice Details.
- Within Practice Details, click on the Insurance tab.
Step 3: Open the Payer Lookup and Enrollment Screen
- Under the Insurance tab, click on the Lookup Payers button under Payer Lookup & Enrollments.
Step 4: Select Payers
- In the Payer Lookup modal, you can select the checkbox for as many payers as you like directly from this view.
- Alternatively, utilize the search bar to find a specific payer by searching for the Payer ID (recommended).
- Once you have selected all the payers you'd like to enroll with, click the Next button.
Step 5: Complete Enrollment questions for each selected Payer
- Ensure the selected payers' details are correct:
- Payer ID
- Payer Name
- Payer Address
- Ensure the Yes / No selections are accurate for:
- Accept Assignment?
- In-network?
- Select which of the following you'd like to bill with for each payer:
- SSN (Social Security Number)
- EIN (Employer Identification Number)
- Supervisor Overrides
- If the enrollment requires a Supervisor Override when submitting claims, select a supervisor from the Supervisor Override column.
- If not required, leave this column blank.
- Once you have ensured all details are accurate on this page of the form, click Next.
Step 6: Upload Required Documentation
- Follow the prompts to upload required documentation to create your payer profile. These may include:
- W-9s
- State Licenses for each therapist
- Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) for clinic clients from the last 6 months, if necessary.
- Once all required documents have been uploaded, click the Save button.
Step 7: Complete the Enrollment Request
- You will see a confirmation screen for the successfully submitted enrollment for the listed payers.
- Click Done.
Step 8: Review your Enrollments Status
- To check the status of your enrollment, repeat steps 1-3 above to open the Payer Lookup screen.
- You will see the same list of payers as before, with one of the following statuses:
- Not Started
- Submitted
- Active
Step 9: Enrollment Status Activation
- Once your enrollment has been completed by the Owl Practice team, you will receive an email notification.
- The payer's status will be updated to Active.
- You can now begin setting up client coverage and submit claims for the Active payer.
Note: Enrollments can take several weeks for payers to accept. While waiting for an enrollment to be accepted, we recommend that you download claims and file them directly with the payer outside of Owl to avoid delays in reimbursement
